Main objectives:
Research planned in the project aimed to improve the well-being and reduce the risk of digestive diseases subsidiaries of European society by increasing the intake of protective ingredients found in whole grains or their fractions because more and more deeply documented evidence shows that a diet consisting of such products prevents the development of coronary heart disease and diabetes noninsulin-dependent. The strategic aim of HEALTHGRAIN is to produce food with positive effects on the health and safety at the same time based on cereal grains and/or its ingredients of high nutritional quality.
